Description
Have you watched countless pottery videos and now want to try your hand at it yourself and feel the power of pottery? This 4-hour pottery course on the potter’s wheel will give you a first insight into the world of throwing. You will learn the basic process of pottery at the wheel and have enough time for a few repetitions. Kneading, centring, breaking, lifting and shaping. At the end, I will demonstrate the turning of leather-hard clay vessels.
Why up to 4 hours for a intro course and no less?
My experience has shown that it is helpful to allow enough time for the intro course so that the workshop can be enjoyed calmly. This way, nothing stands in the way of creating 1-3 bowls in peace. Attend the course with an ‘open mind’ – the aim of the course is to learn a new skill, the creative hours and not the end product.
This course is accompanied by cosy background music, soothing tea and delicious snacks.
